Oh man, I gotta pretend like I'm not talking about myself here. Uh. Hmm. Well, I'm sure you all know me by now, but in case you haven't been reading (which would be a surprise, considering you're reading this), the name's Loop! I'm the one who takes care of all the backstage stuff around PMDA, as well as inform you all on what's going on via writing the journals. Well, I mean, I don't do all the writing myself, of course, my assistant Jpeg also, uh, assists me in doing so. I'm here to guide you through the world of Caelum, which is set in a universe that I created with my own bare hands! Given that this is my universe, I'm allowed to do pretty much whatever I want here, and what I want to do is expand the multiverse, with the help of you all.

You see, Mystery Dungeons have been a pain in my side for as long as I can remember, and I wasn't getting any answers in the other universes I was visiting to try and study them, so I figured, why not just create my own, and isolate the problem so I can focus on it better? And voila! Only problem is, this universe doesn't exactly have any outlets to other universes in it, so I kinda had to make a bridge somehow, and decided upon asking you all for help, via this vast expanse that you all call the internet! I'm only somewhat familiar with your species, but I know you all are just as capable of making your own universes and multiverses just as much as I am. Given that, it was hard to resist the idea of gathering help from you all!

Pretty much, as the guardian of the multiverse, one of my favorite things ever, of all time, is seeing expansion of the same subject. Like, for every different interpretation or story, there's a whole universe created from that that branches off in its own direction, can you imagine how much expansion you get just from Pokemon as a species? It's incredible! And it's why I'm here; I need all of your help to expand the multiverse portion of PMDA, and also to help me find out what the heckie is up with Mystery Dungeons. Pretty much, every single story or perspective that you all write or draw for PMDA will further expand the branching paths of the multiverse derived from it; meaning, basically, everybody's story takes place in their own universe, like, a different version of the same place, just through that character's eyes. This is what makes things like Pokemon variety possible! As for Mystery Dungeons, all I've really been able to gather is that they're messing with the multiverse somehow, changing around and merging with different versions of itself in different universes, and it's really bothersome, especially considering the fact that I cannot even touch them. I simply cannot figure out how they work! But, normal Pokemon can enter and explore them, and that's what I'm hoping you all will do for me. 

Oh man, I kinda went off on a tangent for a second there, sorry about that! I'm supposed to be talking about myself, not about the purpose of the group, hahaha. Well, dang, how would one even describe themselves? Uh, I guess you could say that I'm generally pretty nice, but like?? If you step on my non-existent toes, I'll probably snap at ya, so please don't try pushing my buttons. Some people could describe me as stubborn or rigid, but really, I kinda hafta be in order to protect the multiverse from paradoxes, so that ain't really my fault. Also, I really hate the stereotype that my species is supposed to be a mischievous trickster, because all those Hoopas are really dumb and don't realize how much they're destroying the multiverse by using their portals all willy-nilly like they do. So please, for your sake and mine, don't assume that bullcrap about me. That's another thing I hate! People assuming things about me or misinterpreting me or my personality, it's a huge peeve and I'd rather not deal with it. I mean, otherwise though, I'm pretty easy to get along with, I would think! Now onto my partner, Jpeg!

I met Jpeg literally as he was not only traversing through my multiverse, which should be impossible for normal mon to do already, but also completely messing with, uh, what would I even call this? "Coding" isn't the right word, but it gets my point across. I didn't really understand how he was able to do that, but I'm going off of the assumption that he's more a Porygon of your world's "cyberspace" rather than of the actual multiverse. I don't know where he comes from, but I've been working with him for the past couple of months to calm him down and control his outbursts, as well as try to figure out what causes them to begin with. He doesn't glitch out nearly as much as he used to now, if at all, but I don't want to get my hopes up in case something goes wrong again. I had quite the mess to clean up when he first arrived, so I'd rather take precautions to avoid that from happening again, especially now that you all are beginning to join and be a part of the group!

Otherwise, though, Jpeg isn't much big on words outside of what he helps me write in the journals. You wouldn't want to see him during one of his episodes, but I think a good way to describe is that he pretty much begins acting like what you would call a "dank meme"? I mean, that's how he described it, at least, it's all moon speak to me. You all won't hafta worry about encountering one of his outbursts, though, because I've asked him to be on his best behavior when writing the journals. Although, he did ask me if he was allowed to make a blog for the group and run it on his own, so he could have a space to be himself, and it would be cruel of me to deny that, especially since it's for the group's benefit. I think he's still cleaning it up for now, but hopefully it'll be available soon! I would like to warn you all, though, because I can't excuse Jpeg's behavior on his own blog (nor am I responsible for it), and he tends to be pretty blunt and crude a lot of the time, so watch out for that! Generally, though, he should be pretty easy to get along with, because he really likes meeting new people, so make his experience worthwhile, if you can!
