For many generations, Gleam's family has passed down the tradition of making clothes for the traveling guildies when they go out on expeditions. It's a harsh world out there, and even just having a simple scarf can protect you from both environmental hazards and Absolutes! Up until recently, the guilds had a small amount of members, so her work was never really too much for her to handle. After the sudden influx of new members, however, she decided that she wouldn't be able to always make custom accessories for every single person on her own, and chose to instead begin crafting a bulk supply of generic cloths for members to wear and dye as they please. She does still want to get back into making more unique designs, but she'll likely also make these in bulk and allow members to choose from her stock, for a limited time. Any accessories that end up becoming particularly popular, though, she'll probably continue to make.

Gleam herself is a very non-chalant and quiet Galvantula, and while she does love engaging in conversations with others, she often keeps to herself to continue making accessories. Whenever she's in a good mood, or sometimes when she's nervous, the electric charge in her furs will build up, causing them to seem to glow and give off a few sparks. Try to avoid getting near her if you notice these, as you might be accidentally shocked! As she can't control when this happens, she apologizes over and over if anyone does get hurt because of her. Otherwise, she's generally super kind and accepting to most others, especially her husband, who doesn't quite seem to "get" social interaction.

Although he helps out with Gleam in making accessories from time to time, Aran doesn't actively create his own accessories anymore. His specialty is in embellishments and adorning accessories with special affects, effectively turning them into wares, but with the sudden influx of guild members, he's taken to helping out with the generic supplies instead. Gleam always encourages him to take up his hobby again, but he just doesn't feel it anymore. He does, however, design most (if not all) of the specialty accessories that are available in the store, it's just that Gleam is more capable and willing to mass produce them than he is. Aran's the kinda person that doesn't like to create the same thing twice, let alone over and over and over again. He admires this about his wife, but is also concerned for her a lot of the time. 

While Gleam is more suited for nocturnal habits, she often stays up during the day to help out the diurnal members; Aran, on the other hand, absolutely refuses to be outside during daylight hours. He has a certain affinity with staying in the shadows, and prefers to go unnoticed, even when approaching others. This leads to some relatively awkward conversation starters, as he often literally scares the crap out of anyone he wishes to talk to. Instead of scuttling, he also usually gets around by shooting his web and slingshotting his way in that direction. He met Gleam by doing this, accidentally flying headlong into one of her webs, and ever since, the two have never been apart. He has an odd sense of humor that only Gleam seems to get, and while he's not nervous around other people, his strange tendencies usually make people nervous around him!
