Oh and I don't know if this is really necessary to repeat for the 3897490238902348th time, but you don't hafta get everything exactly how it is on the reference. I don't care. Draw them however you like, these are just specifics for how I draw them. Like, if you go to paint them with crazy colors I don't care. So long as it, you know, makes sense with the background. This is just generally how I see their colors in my head. In fact, Chryss and Arty often alter their colors depending on their moods! Don't feel obligated to get everything down to a t.

Interesting facts
Chrysstal
>Her eyes are always slit pupils, except late at night when they dilate slightly.
>Her face is very cat-like, but she considers herself closer to a rodent.
>She lacks the eyelash markings that Sneasels usually have, and instead has unusually large natural eyelashes.
>The feathers on her tail sprout from a small, stubby tail, much like a real bird. When she molts, these feathers are more vibrant.
>Her ear isn't a feather; it's more of a velvety-textured ear that outgrew her other ear. It's disguised as another feather for camouflage; when she hunts, her feathers make her look like another bird, so when natural birds leave their nest, they don't immediately locate any predators (Chryss doesn't hunt, however)
>Her gems are silver, but she once got them painted gold. The gold is beginning to wash off.
>Her ribbons often waft depending on her mood

Artemis
>Like a real-world gecko, he lacks eyelids, so to remove debris from his eyes, he licks it away
>The fibers on his fingertips allow him to stick to smooth surfaces, such as glass
>His tail gets thicker towards the middle, and it curls outward at the tip. The only time his tails are uncurled is when he's using an attack.
>When he runs, he adopts a straight-spine posture, so from head to tail his spinal cord is mostly straight.
>When he's angry, the base of his eye ridge pulls forward and scrunches up a bit. When he's stressed out, his cheekbone and the edge of his eye socket become more prominent
>In order to stand up straight, his tails must touch the ground
>He likes to wrap his tails around those he is affectionate towards

Alastair
>His wings are larger and more serrated than the average Scyther
>His cheek horns curve up, rather than down.
>He has 3 spikes on his shoulders, matching his thighs
>His feet are based after spider legs
>He has 4 sections on his abdomen rather than 3
>His scythes have thumbs and end claws, making him able to use them like hands to an extent
>He has slit pupils, and his face is very dinosaur-esque, giving him the appearance of a reptile
>He has an extra joint on his arm that is covered in small spikes, much like a real-world mantis.
>When he retracts his wings, they almost "hug" his back, and the armored "arms" of the wing fit into a hole on his back
>When he walks, he often holds his scythes together
